Maybe you have tried many brands of clothes, but could not find one suit for you, that's because you have not used Paul Smith. Paul Smith, the typical representative of classicism is also called "Ralph Lauren". Paul Smith also owns the same honor as Italian Romeo Gigli and France Jean Paul Gaultier in the Japan market. Paul Smith is famous for super bright stripes and contrasting colors, as these characters, Paul Smith becomes most of people's best favourites. Paul Simth is also very popular in different places of the world.
Iconic British designer brand Paul Smith, won the accolade of British luxury brand at Walpole’s annual awards last night.
Paul Smith doesn't really do theme-y collections. Whatever the season, his concept revolves around the brand of modern Britishness he has personally made accessible throughout the world.
For Fall, though, he seemed almost inadvertently to have picked up the current twenties vibe in drop-waisted Deco chiffon dresses, long lean cardigans, fluid pants, and the odd shawl-collared Poiret coat. Since these were followed by a section of gamekeeper-check knickers and vests and a khaki WWI greatcoat, it was easy to think, just for a moment, "Aha, of course! Lady Chatterley's Lover," and "What a clever English spin."
Walpole, which represents the British luxury industry, also named Louis Vuitton as international luxury brand.
The Savile Row Bespoke association picked up the award for best craftsmanship.
Other winners at the awards included luxury jewellery brand Links of London, which won best luxury brand overseas and luxury jewellery retailer Astley Clarke as best British luxury brand online.
Renowned photographer Marino Testino won Walpole’s medal of excellence for his work both in the luxury and fashion sectors.
Walpole chief executive Julia Carrick said: “We have an exceptional list of award winners this year reflecting the extraordinary talent that continues to emerge from the British luxury industry.
“We are delighted to present Mario Testino with a Medal of Excellence this year. He remains one of the world’s most well known and celebrated fashion photographer’s. He is a highly influential figure across both the fashion and luxury industries and hugely deserving of this award for all he has done for British fashion”
In Falling water, which was built as a weekend retreat for Edgar J. Kaufmann, we see Wright's greatest expression of "organic architecture" --the union of the structure and the land upon which it is built. Falling water is considered Wright's masterwork.
